Baked For Us!
Running out of time to bake this week? We have an increasing range of freshly baked goods that could help you out. Unlike some places, none of this is brought in and relabelled – it is made exclusively for us only using items that we have for sale in the shop. For example, bread from organic flour, savoury mince pies from New Close Farm mince or quiche from free range eggs and our rare breed pork. This range varies from week to week, (we have fresh bread every Thursday morning) but will always be tasty and always made with only the best ingredients. In the longer term, we would like to expand this range so would welcome suggestions on what you would be interested in.
Preserves
Using the same philosophy, we harvest our own fruit and berries when in season and combined with organic ingredients from the Farm Shop use them in our jams, chutneys and sauces. Again, when we say they’re ours, they are exclusively ours - not relabelled mass-market goods - and are made only from the best ingredients from the shop. We hope to think that they are just how you would make them! You wouldn’t compromise on quality and we don’t either.
