Poultry
We keep chickens and occasional guinea fowl for sale in the Farm Shop. They are all completely, utterly free range and you may occasionally see them wandering around the farm! They scratch, peck and browse their way to size, slowly, and develop into delicious, mature birds that have the taste and colour that chicken used to have. The taste is fantastic, but we're just as proud of how we look after them; if you are at all concerned about factory farming or if “free-range” means what you think it should mean, our chicken is for you!
Our chicken is available either as a whole bird for roasting, jointed, quartered and as breast, legs, thighs and wings. At the moment, demand outstrips supply so if you are planning for a special occasion, we suggest you get in contact first to confirm availability.
